I've had my F-Type roughly a week, and am wondering if it should be doing this:

(1) Press START button
(2) Engine cranks maybe once or twice then catches
(3) Starts, revs up to roughly 2000 RPM, then immediately falls down to fast idle
(4) In 50F weather, it falls from fast to normal idle in 15-20 seconds.

Revving like that at startup seems wrong - hard on bearings and the like. Is it normal? The engine is otherwise very smooth.
