I’m in Australia so the below prices have no relevance elsewhere but give a relativity.
I have an early model 2014 F type 6 cylinder convertible and I’ve been given two options for upgrading the system to Apple CarPlay.
I have already upgraded a 2009 Audi Q5 with a system from IDCORE. It works pretty well but is a bit idiosyncratic, however the Audi doesn’t have a touch screen.
The Jaguar recommendation was dependant on the type of touch screen originally fitted, see the link below.
Option one is cheaper but still AUD $1695.
Option two is a bit more expensive at AUD $1888 but allows for the addition of a 360° view camera, the installation of which requires removing mirrors etc and is a time-consuming process and costs an additional AUD $3200. I’m uncertain if there is other functionalit.
