G'day,
Am I the only one who is deeply unimpressed with the interior of the F-Type?
Just crappy plastics, cheap-looking switchgear, a 1998-look centre-console, no wood (not even an option - isn't this a Jaguar?), and overall looking like it wouldn't be out of place in a low-rent 15-year-old Chrysler?
For the money - in Australia I expect my fully-loaded V8S to cost AUD$300,000 / GBP$200,000 / USD$315,000 - when I saw the prototype at the Sydney Show in person I nearly died from disappointment. Take a look at a Bentley or Aston and you're more on track with what I was expecting.
It's just so - er - crap. No class, refinement, style, character. Just bluntly functional - a 'there you go - an interior' approach that even Peugeot wouldn't dare to try and get away with.
Look forward to your comments.
