As far as looks the two cars are somewhat similar (I do like the F-type better - but I admit I am biased)

Here the vehicles side by side in the same picture (or should I say top 'n bottom)

Boy, it's tough, but the AM is such a beautiful design from every angle. Whereas Jag seemed to have run out of steam a bit on a few corners and angles.
While I'm considering an F-type now (already owned a Vantage and DBS), they are also in somewhat different classes, too.
A tough and subjective call.

Yes I agree they are in different classes, unlike you I doubt I will every have the pleasure of owning (let alone driving a Vantage or a DBS). On a happy note just got my F-type today (the base V6) and I have to say I'm very pleased - and to me the F-type "angles" just seem to get better and better.
