Many people in Germany (and Hungary) have been forced to abandon their homes and head for higher ground, due to severe flooding that is ravaging parts of the continent. Around 23,000 people were forced to flee their homes in the German city of Magdeburg, and in Central Europe, a reported 12 people have died ever since the heavy rains started last week.

A Jaguar dealership in Bavaria has been all-but swallowed up by the murky sediment-filled water. Left dead in its wake are a brand new F-Type, what appears to be an XK convertible, a few other Jags, and a whole bunch of Range- and Land-Rovers, which clearly had been subjected to waters much higher than their safe manufacturer-approved wading depths.
