With my new Jaguar F, I am unable to completely fill the gas tank. It stops at about 3/4 now matter how I hold the nozzle or turn it. My husband is a General Contractor who builds gas stations and fueling facilities and has talked to Jaguar about the problem, who says they have never heard of it. Anybody else experienced this ?

Not in an F Type, try a different station (maybe the pump is delivering the fuel to fast)

Gas filler problems

That's why I explained that my husband is in the fuel industry. We have tried different stations, with different nozzles, Healy, OPW, Husky. always the same result, 3/4 tank.

weird. I had a car that did that along time ago. Had to position the pump spout nozzle almost all the way out of the filler tube to get it to work; I thought it was maybe the shape of the fill tube riser causing back flow.

Have you tried having someone fill it for you? maybe its the way you hold the pump nozzle in the fill tube....

Gas filler problems

Jaguar finally figured it out. It had a bad 'fuel sensor' in the gas tank. Had to order the part from UK. Finally fixed !
