I joined the forum recently and want to introduce myself. My name is Tom and my wife and I bought a British Racing Green V6 in June. We love the looks and handling of this car and it fits in perfectly with our other two cars, a 2012 Corvette GS and a Ford Explorer.
The use of paddle shifts is completely new to me, but they are very easy to use and more fun than I thought. This is also my first experience with a Jaguar, so I will have a lot of questions for all you forum members. Below are a couple pictures of our car:
Welcome Tom, I was wondering where you were? Pretty car! I started a "Paddle Shift" thread, be sure to add your impressions there. By the way, please put up a picture of the "Cat" next to your Vette. Also, which car has the lower ground clearance? How do the two cars compare in available driver's legroom?

The Vette definitely has more leg room, although I never think about it that much about it since I am not that tall. The Vette must also have a lower ground clearance based on the number of scrapes I get with it. I will do some measurement comparisons and get back to you.
Hey Everyone,
I'm from from Virginia and a recent convert to Jaguar so decided to do it right and went with a 2016 F-Type S convertible. Car is mint with only 6,000 miles on it. It has the 6-speed manual which is incredibly fun to drive. Loving it so far
Looking forward to being part of the...
Just bought my first Jag ever and went with the V8 S. It's been a dream car of mine and I'm absolutely in love with it! Can't wait to get back into the car scene and meet some other cool F-Type owners.
Hi all, just registered and wanted to say hi. I'm based in Silicon Valley here in the Bay Area and am the proud and happy owner of a 2014 V8S in British Racing Green. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and participating in the forums.
All the best

On Mother's Day my wife became the proud owner of a 2016 F-Type S AWD. Love the car... bought it sight unseen and it turns out it was the wrong grey color but she loves it anyway. Who would have thought there would be 3 different greys.
