I brought home my first Jag, a 2002 XK8 convertible, on Halloween eve...
I was lurking here for months prior and knew some of what to expect ;~) after new gaskets, new tyres, and an alignment we're both much happier. Still a few lingering oddities, but she succeeds the love of my life, a '97 Mercury Sable without AC -- so not too pressed about the paint scratches or the totally clogged heater core ("We're the same," I said, thinking of my sinuses)
