I have a 2014 F-Type V8 and the dealership did a software update and it appears the software tamed the exhaust as it lessen the crackle and pop. Is there a way to reinstate the exhaust sound back to stock?

Thanks,
Frank

Subscribed. 2016 ftype r. Took to dealer for coolant leak / hose replacement, under last week of CPO warranty. Got it back today. Car is now quiet, almost no pop and burble. Certain they installed something, but they claim they did not. Plan to have them pull the current version. Is there a version / patch I should be looking for??? oh yeah, coolant leak not fixed after 2 week wait. Not a happy camper.

Great question. I would like to know that too since I have the best F type, ie the 2014 Convertible

I am reluctant to take my 2014 V8S in for that same reason. I don't hardly ever drive the car, with 25,000 miles so I may only take it in for an oil change, but I don't want them messing with the ECU. Perhaps I will duct tape over the OBD socket? there is no reason for them to mess with that. Comments? Suggestions.
