It is here - and it is great!

V8- picked up yesterday.
Drove 300 km already.
Satellite Silver with tan interior.
All options.
Looks very nice - elegant, and shows off the subtle lines very well.
Car drives nicely. Very engaging. Feels/sounds special (much more so that a modern Porsche).

Rides and handles very well - in typical Jaguar fashion.

Sounds really loud! It sounds like it should be illegal. Good under part throttle and restrained RPM, but will undoubtedly cause problems with neighbours and other drivers in flat out, 7000 rpm shifts.

Less fast/strong/scary than I had assumed based on the magazine write-ups. Probably a little less accelerative than I had hoped for/expected flat out, but very nice and responsive at part throttle.

Transmission is brilliant in auto mode, quite good in part throttle paddle shifts, not very responsive in full throttle, high RPM manual shifts.

All-in-all, a great car from Jaguar.
