More expensive problems with my F type!

it sounds like you should still have some factory warranty left. all that can be covered

I have written to Jaguar head office and they basically told me I should have taken out extra warranty

Just tell Jag, you will go to press or one those 'Fair Go' TV shows and you will recommend to the many friends you have, not to buy an F-Type, works for me.

I had a problem with the gearbox slipping back into auto after driving a short distance in dynamic mode, 3 x visits to Jag failed to find the problem until I described (photos & words) exactly what was happening in all drive selections. Low and behold they found a pinched gear paddle connector, so they replaced it FOC and voila all is good. I find persistence with Jaguar starting from their Corporate department all the way down to the franchise dealer works. Had the same issue with a former C63S AMG and went to the top and got results.

Hey bud,
Sorry to hear you are having such issues... Water pumps fail, all cars various miles.. 24K is low for it on any.. Leak on Rear Diff is a thing that some owners of our cars see, mostly V8s..
but the elephant in the room here is " I require a supercharger modification kit fitted"
This one concerns me and makes me think you are not at a reputable shop... the XFRs had retrofits needed, but the F Types have been fixed with those from the factory.. I have not heard of any of this type recall or needed retrofit and IF it was needed, as others have said it would be a warranty item... something is not quite right here bud.

Your car is under warranty for five years/60k miles. You shouldn’t be paying anything.
