Yes I think so. My friend got to the same situation and their mechanic advised them to not spend any higher as it functions the same.

Have followed the F type since launch and am finally getting close to being able to get one.
Will be looking on here for purchase advice and any pitfalls to avoid.
I think I need a red 3.0 v6 convertible with silver alloys, suede/ leather seats & black interior.
Hoping to try and get a low miler with not too much corrosion/ salt/ rain damage underneath.
Am I right to think a pre- 2017 car will cost me a lot less in road tax but perform pretty well the same as later cars??
I am living near Cirencester in the Cotswolds if anyone is nearby.
