Hi all - new to the forum, after much deliberation I recently decided on the F-type R AWD 2016 onwards. Given the current used market, it would be good to get some purchase guidance for the year, mileage and anything to watch out for when buying. $55k is my budget however, willing to travel to pick up a bargain. Any intel on known/common problems with mileage guidance to factor in with the purchase would be great. Thanks!

Seems I just had this discussion with someone else. Buying used with any vehicle is "hit or miss" but I mentioned many miles is definately a deal breaker on these vehciles. Also, I got a certified one which gives you a bit more breathing room. CUT THE RADIO OFF! See if the car tells you something, then turn the air on and heat to see what the engine says. Take it to a rep Jag dealer get it plugged up, and pay "Joe" a few dollars to look it over and tell you what he thinks. Good luck!

thanks for the info and heads up. Last jag dealer I rang for PPI, “2 weeks for that inspection to be done” - LOL!
