The V8 S I ordered in July showed up a couple of weeks ago. Haven't had much time to drive it yet (only 170 miles) but so far I love the car. I canceled an order for a 2013 Viper (would have been my third one) because I got sick of all the crap from Dodge and haven't given it a second thought, especially now that the Jag is here! so far, the Jaguar experience has been head and shoulders over what I'm used to.

Funny that you say that. I'd always wanted a Viper and then went and drove one and hated it, so bought my current M6 instead. I'd guess you don't hate it since you had 2, but what were the Dodge issues, just out of curiosity? Maintenance problems?

I had quality issues with both Vipers. Insofar as the new Viper goes I can't speak to the quality as I never drove or owned one but from the time I placed the order last November Dodge made it extremely difficult to stomach spending $130k+ with them. There were constant delays, no information why, misinformation why, dealers getting their cars before those of us who ordered cars got ours (existing Viper owners were promised their orders would be built first), terrible reviews and plummeting prices. When my car was finally about to be built in June I had had enough and it was painfully obvious from looking on line that it was not worth anywhere near the price the dealer wanted, so I canceled it. The whole Dodge deal never felt right from the get go and that was way too much money to spend on something you're not sure about. A couple of weeks later I ordered the F-Type V8 S for $3k over invoice. The whole thing fell in to place and just felt "right". So far, I love the car and I'm hoping the quality equals or surpasses the Vipers.
