Recommendation for Wheels

I drive a 2017 Jaguar F-Type Premium with the base 18" Continental SportContact2. I'm looking for a better performance tire. Any tire recommendations?

Here are the two tires that I'm considering:

  • Continental ExtremeContact Sport
  • Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

I'm open to feedback and suggestions. Thanks!

I'm open to feedback and suggestions. Thanks! From Al J. in San Diego: You didn't mention what you feel is lacking in your current tires, and I would be interested in what led you to thinking of getting the Continental Extreme Contact Sport? Was it reviews, and how what you read might relate better to your driving style? I have a 2015 F-type convertible which came with brand new Continental Extreme Contact Plus tires on 20-inch rims, and based on the razor sharp handling at speed in tight sweeping curves, and quiet ride on the freeway with the top up, I wouldn't hesitate to get the same tires again! Unless the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's I just put on the 20-inch rims of my 2007 Porsche 911 base Carrera Cabriolet cost significantly less money than the Continentals. I feel the exact same way about the Michelin's on the Porsche, as I do about the Continentals on the Jaguar, so if the Michelin's were available for a lot less, I would give them a try on the F-type. However, if the money is about the same, I would buy the Continentals again for the Jag...in the proverbial 'heart beat'
