Side rearview mirrors/puddle lights quit working

I have a 2015 F-Type. The rearview mirrors on the doors no longer fold in when the vehicle is locked. There were also puddle lights under the mirrors that don't light up when car is unlocked. Is this a common issue? The local Jaguar dealer wants $600 to "diagnose" the problem, no telling what actual repairs will run.
