my temp icon came on yesterday but my gauge stays right in the middle. i let the car cool down and it is still on. i filled the canister and it's still on. i know the car isn't hot. it doesn't smell and it isn't boiling over. the antifreeze is orange and shows no signs of corrosion. any ideas?

I would def check it with a reader and Torque or the likes. My guess is a sensor is bad, but I would make sure the OBD2 port says the car is not running hot also.

Don't know if this beast has a temperature valve that opens and closes but that is what it sounds like. It sounds like it's stuck in the close position. Please let us know what you found out.
