Im having trouble grasping that a $92,000 base V8 F-Type will not have blind spot monitoring and a back-up camera standard. Every car that cost above $50,000 in my mind should have these standard.
For US-spec cars, I believe the back-up camera is federally-mandated for 2014 model year vehicles. I'm sure more information will be available in time.
I tend to agree with you - things like rain-sensing wipers are standard on pretty much everything these days - it's a bit of a joke.
Looks like Jag has mastered Porsche's idea of 'reel them in with an attractive list price and double it with 'options' that should have been there in the first place'.
They weren't kidding when they said the car was aimed for Porsche owners!
