Has anyone installed the JagMadness Tunes to their V6 F Type?

I am trying to figure out if I want to go directly to Stage #3 or not. I am going to replace the manifold intake, but if I am going to take part the front in than much do I want to go ahead and replace the crankshaft pulley, the supercharger pulley and belt along with the intake tubing/filters and be done.

I've just ordered three of them. The MAXPower Pro, the Throttle Response Controller, and the AutoFlash by Madness.
I talked to their California guy for a while and he told me what to expect and that I needed to change oil/ sparkplugs maybe twice as much as normal (?). I have to talk to him a few more times because apparently I have to download a map file of the car, send it to him, and he builds a new map specifically for that car. Should take about a month for that one. Two of them should ship today or tomorrow. I'm going to do some work on the suspension if he tunes the engine up to SVR, or higher. The exhaust was upgraded before I bought it. I'll let you know how these work out.

That's all very interesting. When I spoke to the guy in Tx, he shared that the Jaguar F-Type is built as a V8 and therefore, I would not have to do anything additionally. As I continue to do more research, I am hearing of all kinds of upgrades being applied like brakes, exhaust systems etc. But if they are saying the car is already built for a V8 why is everyone doing all of the additional enhancements?

Thank you for your responses. I get that but if the guys at JagMadness say nothing else is required, is it necessary or just a desire to change out so many elements? I ask because I wanted the increase power, etc. but didn't want to have to go through all of those changes some folks are talking about to obtain it.

They did not suggest either of those upgrades in conjunction with the engine tuning. This is just me. After the engine components are in, I'll reassess the driving experience. I hardly ever scream down any road, so if I'm feeling confident (and safe), then I'll likely leave the rest alone.
It mostly depends on the feeling safe. Maybe if my enthusiasm is way up and I'm like "omg, I've gotta have more." But we'll see how far I 5gactually go.
I'll let you know after my stuff is in, supposedly, it takes about 100 miles for one of the parts to complete its analysis (?), and implement its contribution to the whole package.
Good luck to us both..

I bought a 2016 Base Convertible about a month ago and just installed the level 1 tune to 420hp. Plan to jump to the level 3 with upper and lower pulley next. Tune was easy to install plug and play I had it installed within one and a half hours of signing for the power gate 4 module from FedEx. Can definitely feel a major increase in low and mid range torque in the butt Dyno and the way the back end steps out and chirps the tires on the one to two shift running 295 Nitto 555's, Customer service was excellent with Madness auto works the tune developer called my directly to discuss what I was looking for in performance for my car and shipping was fast and secure. So far the tune is great and my understanding is it will get better as it sets in. (Just installed Yesterday) Got a little nervous as the Christmas tree lit up with ABS fault and a bunch of other features that were not working for the quick around the block voyage but once I got her back in the garage turned off the ignition and turned it back on everything cleared on its own and it is right as rain now.

I installed the 420hp stage 1 from Jag Madness on my 16 base convertible about 1000 miles ago. Huge difference in low and midrange torque feel. Tires break loose first to second when on the paddles enough to kick the back end out. I am running 295/40 Nitto NT555's in the rear and 265/40's in the front. I will be jumping up to the stage 2 and pulley change in the near future. No issues with the stage one and I daily my F Type. No codes everything works well, great support and customer service from Jag Madness and my order came quickly with no hassles.

Eric just installed the Power Plus and the Auto-Flash on Friday.
The car now has the Go Pedal +, Power+, and Auto-Flash.
He said there's a refresh period of maybe 50-100 miles for both the P+ and the Auto-Flash, but you can feel a difference instantly.
I also had him look at why it's so loud.
The last guy who owned it cut the muffler off, so it's straight pipes (what a schmuck)!!
It is unbelievably powerful/ quick, but, I can't drive a car with straight pipes, so it's back down to see him early next month for the Performance Exhaust.
You can't drive the car in Race mode with the Gopedal, it just leaps off the ground. Really, its impossible.
So I turned the eco-mode up 5 stops, still, the car is ridiculously fast; even Eric thought so.
I'm excited for the exhaust, and then the 10" infotainment center/ screen with airplay and maps.
After these last two mods, the car will be finished.
Close to 6k for the mods, but I want it right.

Jag Madnes (JM) Stage 1 Tune is in, there is no question the increase from 340-420hp is…perfect. Manual gear changes actually feel quicker…weird. May be my imagination, extra HP really makes this car perfect.

I did have an issue with the Powergate phone app not connecting with the Powergate tune module. It was quite the pain in the arse. I spent about 4-5 hours fiddle f-ing around with settings, Bluetooth, etc. I contacted JM via email the Sunday before Memorial Day after another failed attempt. Chad from JM actually responded via email within an hour or so with recommendations. I tried again on Memorial Day and no luck. I emailed Chad again, and within 30 minutes he called me…yes on Memorial Day…I was amazed. We talked through what I was trying and he said he never had the Powergate app not connect with the tune module. I tried one more time, no go. Chad put a ticket in to AlienTech for me and scheduled a time for Alien to remote into the module to see what was up. AlienTech remotes in, did something to it and then it worked fine. Annoying, but I was happy it worked. I can’t say enough about Chad from JM, amazing service (and he is working on a discount for my trouble!).

I did the Level 1 tune a few months back and it has worked perfectly. Increased power in all ranges. I just added the go Pedal + last week JM upgraded me for free from the Go Pedal since they didnt have it in stock at the time I ordered. I will echo the sentiments above the throttle response in Race mode is almost undriveable on the street. I am running a 295/40 Nitto NT tire on the rear which has great grip once warm and it will knock the tires off. The Sport setting keeps things quick but smoother and better planted. Next up is Stage 2 and the upper pulley change and cold air intake. Can't wait to hear a little more supercharger whine. Only issue I have had recently is the bank 1 and 2 lean idle codes so digging for a vacuum leak somewhere before the TB now or maybe the PVC cap.
